Folks,
As the person delegated Wednesday at the 9/11 meeting to contact the internationally recognized depleted uranium (DU) expert and geoscientist Leuren Moret to speak in Portland, I want to report that we have liftoff.
She'll be speaking on DU's air-borne health hazards and its genetic destruction to offspring of anyone (in perpetuity) who's breathed/touched DU-coated weaponry in the Kosovo, Gulf, Iraq, and Afghanistan wars. DU particles involve easy passage from the DU-infected person to friends, family, work cohorts, et al. by any physical contact. Some of you have seen her photographic collection of teratogenic effects on Iraqi children—far worse than those affected by thalidomide back in the 1970s.
Moret asked me to ask you-all that as long as she's doing a main speech in Portland, she'd be willing to stay for a couple of extra days to talk (without a fee) to any groups about DU that you think would be interested in such a presentation—schools, churches, anti-war or sustainability groups, health-care folks, etc. Please contact me ASAP (barbaragellis@earthlink.net) if you know of such a group.
